We had a great Maths Trail today. We had teams of 4 with one paper holder, one recorder and two lookers in each team. We had to answer lots of interesting questions. Some of the questions were really easy but some were more challenging. It was a lot of fun and we got a chance to practise the maths we learned this year.
We had fun today measuring how many cups of water were in different containers. We had lots of chances to guess before we did the measuring.

We had a great maths lesson on sorting, using our collection of bugs. We sorted the bugs into lots of different groups according to
type of bug
colour of bug
good or bad bugs
live in Ireland or not
whether they are plain or multicoloured
whether they are insects or not
whether they can fly or not 
It was a great chance to talk about bugs, and to practice our sorting, all at the same time.

On Thursday last, May 28th, some of our Mammies and Daddies came to our class.
They were great fun. We played Bingo, Snakes and Ladders, Hot Dog and Colour a picture.
We can make cubes, cuboids, triangular prisms, triangular pyramids and square pyramids

We are getting very good at this activity.
