September weather data chart

 We have been keeping an account of the weather each day.

We know how to talk about today's weather both in English and as Gaeilge.

Today we counted how many of each type of weather there was this month.

 Here are our results:

Sunny and cloudy  9

Cloudy  6

Windy  0

Snowy  0

Rainy  3

Sunny  4

We compared each of the different groups and found which group had the most/least.  We talked about how many more/less in each group.

Our data chart looks great!

Maths Week 2014

We are proud to be taking part in Maths Week 2014!

 We made data charts of the colour of our eyes and the colour of our hair.

Brown eyes and brown hair are most common in our class, red hair and grey eyes are least common.

We enjoyed comparing the different amounts.

We really enjoy playing shape snap.

We can recognize and name circles, squares, rectangles, triangles, ovals, semi-circles, pentagons, hexagons, diamonds and stars.
