We have been talking a lot about sets in Maths. We can organise sets into groups according to colour, size, shape, animal, fruit etc. We were working in groups to organise our sets. It is important that we work together and help each other when we are working in groups. We are getting better every day.

More and less

We have been doing lots of work on more and less. We listen to stories about teddies at the park. Some teddies like to go on the slide, we decide if there are more teddies on the slide. Sometimes teacher tells us exactly how many teddies are where, we tell teacher if there are more or less teddies on the swings.

We did lessons on 2d shapes recently.The children matched the different shapes to their names and made shape pictures.

Maths activities

We did a Maths trail around the school grounds and down Melody Court for Maths Week.We looked for shapes and colours and numbers .It was exciting!
