Maths - Learning about shapes
We have been learning a lot about 2D shapes: squares, circles, rectangles, triangles, ovals and hexagons
and 3D shapes: cubes, cuboids, spheres, cylinders, triangular prisms, pyramids and cones.
Here are some of the activities we play at Maths time to help us find out more about the shapes. We play with logic attribute blocks, Make "n" break game, tangrams, guess the 3D shape and the shapes loop game.
When we have free play time in the morning we like making shapes from some of the other activities too.
